Right Man = Right World
I once read a story of a minister who is preparing for his Sunday message. He’s home alone with his young son who has nothing to do and is being a distraction. Finally looking through a magazine the minister finds a brightly colored map of the world. Tearing the page from the magazine he rips it up into small pieces and scatters them on the floor. Turning to his son he says, “If you can put the map together I will give you a dollar.” The boy eagerly begins putting the pieces together. The father sat back in his study thinking it would take his son hours to complete the puzzle. But in a matter of minutes the son comes into the study with the map of the world neatly assembled on a piece of paper. Turning to his son he asked, “How did you assemble the picture so fast?” The boy replies, “It was easy. There is a picture of a man on the other side, so I put a piece of paper on the floor and put the man together, then I placed another piece of paper on top and flipped it over. I figured if I got the man right, the world would be right.” The minister smiled saying “You’ve given me my Sunday’s message. If a man is right his world will be right.”
I think that says it well enough. Stay focused, stay blessed.
