Last night I was working the Gospel rock group Trees of Adullam. It was an excellent shoot with the band. We shot close to sunset so we could get the light the way I wanted. Every image was made with just one light. I decided to use one light to create drama in the images. I also decided to shoot in the back parking lot of a local theater. There is an open field just beyond the parking lot where we did most of the images. It is a great spot to get an open sky without lots of power lines and other obstructions. 

Trees of Adullam is a local based band with a classic rock style. You can hear their music on Reverbnation.  I came across them on Facebook and wrote them offering to shoot a few pictures for them. Like many local bands they needed better photographs. I decided it would be a good time to give something away to someone who needed it. I had listened to their music and read their profiles and history I thought this would be a great group to give to. Make sure you take some time to listen to their music an like them on Facebook.
